Week 4 - Establishing a Social Presence

Over the weekend, I thought about the ten most important points to establish a social presence in the virtual world - Here goes

1. Use correct Netiquette
2. Encourage group to share ideas
3. Use Phatic in greeting and closure
4. Have a relaxed quiet tone to read email
5. Try and build trust in your classroom
6. Stay clear of ambiguity
7. Introduce onself
8. Have groupwork sessions
9. Use uncluttered text
10. Try to avoid symbols and abbreviations.
